Critical Strike is a key combat mechanic in Soulstone Survivors that allows attacks to deal significantly increased damage. The likelihood of an attack landing as a critical strike is governed by the player's
Critical Chance, while the magnitude of the increased damage is determined by the player's
Critical Damage. This mechanic is central to many high-burst damage builds due to its ability to multiply offensive output.
There are three status effects that directly affect critical strike potency:
Dazed: Increases the chance for the target to receive critical hits by 1% per stack.
Disoriented: Increases the critical damage taken by the target by 1% per stack.
Condemned: Modifies critical damage caused by direct hits. Consumes 10 stacks to increase the damage caused by 500%.

Critical Chance[]
Critical Chance determines the probability of an attack becoming a critical strike. Base critical chance is 5%. Each hit or skill application independently rolls for a critical strike. Critical Tiers enable higher-tier critical strikes when critical chance exceeds 100%:
- 150% Crit Chance: Guaranteed Tier 1 crit (100%) and a 50% chance for a Tier 2 crit.
- 250% Crit Chance: Guaranteed Tier 1 crit, 100% chance for Tier 2, and a 50% chance for a Tier 3 crit. Each additional 100% guarantees the next tier, with the remainder acting as a chance for the subsequent tier.
Vicious Strikes grants 100% critical chance against full-health enemies, ensuring a critical first strike.
