They are capable of using Blast, Bomb, Earth, Electric, and Projectile-type skills.

The Engineer’s unique ascension ability is Mechatron OP-9001.

	The Engineer may now collect fuel from defeated enemies to power the Mechatron Battle Armor, considerably increasing his defenses and firing a powerful missile barrage.

Mechatron OP-9001 is the Engineer's unique ascension ability. During gameplay, defeated enemies occasionally drop pieces of coal. Collecting these fuels the Engineer's energy gauge. Once the gauge is full, the Engineer transforms into the Mechatron OP-9001, continuously fire missile barrage and gaining the following enhancements:

• Critical Damage: +5%
• Armor Power: +30%
• Block Power: +30%
• Movement Speed: +5%
